We were hoping and praying for the best for the announcement of the senior category, since it was announced at the end of the whole conference program. Even during the lectures, the four top finalist couldn’t hide their anxiety.

The lectures began at 8 am, and finished around 1 pm, and then the announcement begin. At as a result, three of the four top finalists will go to Paris, France for their continuous study of tourism, sustainability and environment. The the champions are Rifqi, Risma and Andreas. Congratulations guys!

Then we had late lunch at the same restaurant, only the menu served that day was Javanese food. We had Maduranese soup (Madura is a region in Indonesia), gado-gado for the appetiser, a main course (can’t remember what was it) and pumpkin cakes as our dessert.

We headed back to the conference hall before we went back to the hotel and planning for our next journey. We took a nap for some time in our hotel rooms, and then decided to go to Krisna, to buy some things as souvenirs from Bali. I only bought the well-known Pie Susu (Egg Tart) Dhian, though.

And then we drove to one of the restaurant in Seminyak Beach, but we were kind of lost so when we finally arrived at Seminyak Beach when it was almost 7 pm already. So basically we spent around 3 hours on the road!

We had dinner in the restaurant. The food was too pricey, though. I ordered a milkshake and it was IDR 35k! I also had Fish & Chips, where the fish was not very worth of the price.

The good (and probably bad) thing was because it was late night already, the tide started to rise. And we can enjoy the wave up close near our sandbags. But then, you could get flooded because of the wave reached the beach so high.

We were chatting for some time with the live music around us, when suddenly Michelle said that she wanted to sing. So she sang two songs, and one of them was Justin Bieber’s Love Yourself.

We drove back to Nusa Dua around 9 pm, and I went straight to bed because I felt really tired.

The journey was almost over, and somehow I didn’t realise how time flies really fast…

To be continued.
